Paul & Ken Stansbury are set to retire
After 38 years of running the family-owned business, started by their grandfather in 1935, the Stansbury’s are retiring at the end of December. Here is their farewell note, in their own words…
Dear Friends and Valued Customers,
It’s been over 38 years for us, and it’s time to retire as of January 1, 2022. It’s with a bit of nostalgia that we relinquish our ownership of Paulson Printing. We feel we are putting it in the capable hands of Jordan Hicks of Scappoose, Oregon as the new owner.
Paulson Printing was established in 1935 by our grandfather Paul S. Paulson; we have been in the same building since 1943. The business will continue to be located at 125 N. 19th St. Helens. One of the reasons we decided to sell to Jordan is he is local, and we know that he will treat every customer just like we have; with respect. We are excited that Jordan will be adding new items and services to complement our product offering in the months ahead. You can count on the same outstanding service, the same mantra of “no job too big or too small”, and reach us at the same contact info; 503-397-1224 and printing@paulsonprinting.com.
We look forward to seeing Paulson Printing continue to succeed for years to come. Our family wants to thank you for the support and friendship for all our years in business. Stop by the shop in January to meet Jordan and his business partner, Dan Rocha.
Sincerely, Paul & Chris Stansbury, Ken & Kristi Stansbury
My family and I are so incredibly humbled to take ownership of Paulson Printing, an institution born and tempered on excellent customer support and caring devotion to high-quality service to the community. I have been intimately involved in all aspects of the print world for over 12 years. From running presses, creating artwork to servicing clients, it has always been my dream to have a shop of my own. My wife and I raised our children here in Scappoose, Oregon. We are very active with the communities in our county. I have been the president of a charitable nonprofit in Columbia County for years. Service and dedication run through my family’s veins.
This wonderful opportunity to run an iconic business in my home community is something that I treasure. I will endeavor to stay consistent with the very high standards that Ken and Paul have left for us. We are thankful for the business and loyalty that you have given Paulson’s over the years. I want you to know that we will continue to provide the same level of excellence for many more years to come!
Respectfully, Jordan, Tara, Erica & Eugene Hicks
